SMART START... A PRE-VENTURE CLINIC: - This workshop focuses primarily on the mindset of an entrepreneur. It paints a mental picture for aspiring entrepreneurs of the process that successful entrepreneurs go through from idea generation to the actual business formation and all the way to financial independence. Attendees will be provided a business start-up kit “Smart Start.”

UNDERSTANDING FINANCIAL STATEMENTS: - This part 2 of the business plan workshop teaches in detail how to develop financial statements for your plan that make sense to you and the financial lender. You will learn how to capture information from the Income Statement and Balance Sheet, calculate several useful ratios and learn to make business decisions from this information.

CASH REIGNS SUPREME:
Tracking the Financial Results of Your Business

A one-half day course designed for small business owners that teaches the importance of financial statements and how they can be used to make better business decisions. The connection between bookkeeping transactions and financial statements is made using QuickBooks software. Participants learn how third parties, including lenders, evaluate financial statements to make lending decisions. Specific topics include:
