HBCU – E3
Historically Black Colleges and Universities – Expose, Engage, Experience
The Urban League of Greater Cleveland has always been an avid supporter of our HBCU’s. It is an honor and within our mission to take our youth on tour and provide them with an opportunity to see their peers working, striving and being successful. The League offers trips that provide full immersion into the world of College Planning. All excursions are unique. Students are provided as many of the meals as possible, excellent accommodations, and unforgettable learning opportunities. Participation in these experiences assists in setting the foundation for the future of all youth whom attend.
The tours take place in the spring and this year the League is offering two tour options:
A Northern tour that will be visiting schools such as Howard, University of DC, Hampton,
Norfolk, and Virginia Union.
A Southern tour that will be visiting schools such as Florida A & M, Bethune-Cookman,
Alabama A & M, Tuskegee, and Jackson State
The schools listed are currently planned for visitation; however, changes may occur, based on availability of space at the institutions.
