Hiring management interviewed approximately 25 candidates for Management, Service Clerk, Beauty Advisor, Photo Clerk and Pharmacy Tech positions on the east and west side of Cleveland.. This is the 3rd job fair in the past 2 years that Walgreen's has utilized our facility to screen our candidates. Representatives were very impressed with the caliber and professionalism of the candidates and said that this was the best group so far. Another fair will be scheduled this fall. The Urban League and Cleveland Clinic collaborate to train qualified TANF recipients for entry level positions in the healthcare industry. Upon successful completion of the 5 week curriculum and skills program, participants are certified as Home Health Aides, Home Attendants or Nursing Assistants. Post training, Cleveland Clinic will offer the STNA Examination at Huron Hospital, employment opportunities, and after a 6 month job commitment you can apply to the Huron Hospital School of Nursing to become an RN.
